By assigning Tasks and setting due dates in your online project management system, you will be able to keep your team or teams moving in the right direction. Whenever a staff member or a group is assigned a new task, they will receive an e-mail notification with the project name and details.

Within the Task details you will be able to see what needs to be accomplished, who needs to accomplish it, and when it is scheduled to be accomplished. You can also see the associated Milestones for the Task, and when a task is created you can set the priority level so team members know what needs to accomplished first.

From the Task detail, users can also directly start discussions. That way team members can share information, and managers can be sure that tasks are clearly understood.

Task Templates can also be created for a common series of tasks. Whenever the same tasks are repeated for multiple projects, the task templates make it easier to create and assign tasks without the need to start from scratch.
